Federico Gentili Photography is a fine art photographer working with landscape, architectural, and visual storytelling photography.
I started photography as a boy, when I found an old broken box camera in a warehouse. I walked through the streets pretending to be a photographer, experimenting with my first compositions, with the undeniable advantage of not having to use real and expensive film.
Some time later, my mother gave me an old Ferrania bellows camera, and with that I took my first real photographs.
Since then, time has passed and technology has made enormous progress. Billions of images are produced every day, yet photography remains, as it was in the days of my Ferrania, the most powerful tool for telling stories.
In my photography I follow a single rule: "Knowing how to truly look at things".
My photographic work is also distributed through Getty Images, where I am an official contributor.
