Welcome to my profile, my name is Federico Gentili. I live and work in Italy and I'm not a professional photographer.

 

I went to photography ever since, a young boy, I was donated a classic "box camera" unfortunately did not work, I walk about for my village taking photographs with my broken camera. Was actually a good time because that's when I started to study my first photographic compositions very helpful to my work and more without to spend the money.

Some time later, my mother, donate me the old "bellows camera" called Ferrania, still treasure it, with what I started to take my first actual photographs.
 

But this says a lot about a fact even today: the photography has a distinct essence "that's which is perhaps the most efficient and immediate instrument for telling stories".
